Dee's Attic, the beloved bookstore inside the Lancaster Community Library, has expanded its reach by launching an eBay store. This new venture allows book enthusiasts worldwide to access a curated selection of antique and collectible books.

ABOUT:

The Attic Bookstore is a used bookstore located inside the Lancaster Community Library.  It was renamed after Dee Whichard, who was a founding member and an integral part of its success.  She was dedicated in supporting the Lancaster Community Library, and the store was renamed in her memory.

Dee's Attic resells gently read books in all subjects at reasonable prices.  We rely on the generous donations from members of the community, and the store's income directly supports the Lancaster Community Library.

We are always accepting donations of gently read books, music CD's, DVD's, Audio Books and LP's.  You can bring donations to the Library during our operating hours.  Please call (804) 435-1729 ext. 28 for more information on how to donate.

STORE HOURS:

Our goal is to be open during Library operating hours.  Our current hours are:

Monday 10:00-7:00

Tuesday 10:00-7:00

Wednesday 10:00-7:00

Thursday 10:00-7:00

Friday 10:00-5:00

Saturday 10:00-5:00

Closed Sunday

Our store would not be successful without the dedication of our hard working volunteers.  If you love books and love working with the public, we would love to have you!  We have a variety of shift hours and days.  Please call (804) 435-1729 for more information and stop by the Circulation Desk in the library, or the sales desk in the bookstore and pick up a Volunteer Application to fill out.
