ABOUT:
The Attic Bookstore is a used bookstore located inside the Lancaster Community Library. It was renamed after Dee Whichard, who was a founding member and an integral part of its success. She was dedicated in supporting the Lancaster Community Library, and the store was renamed in her memory.
Dee's Attic resells gently read books in all subjects at reasonable prices. We rely on the generous donations from members of the community, and the store's income directly supports the Lancaster Community Library.
We are always accepting donations of gently read books, music CD's, DVD's, Audio Books and LP's. You can bring donations to the Library during our operating hours. Please call (804) 435-1729 ext. 28 for more information on how to donate.

We have a variety of shift hours and days. Please call (804) 435-1729 for more information and stop by the Circulation Desk in the library, or the sales desk in the bookstore and pick up a Volunteer Application to fill out.
