HOMEPlace, Cancel Holds, RenewalsPatrons can place hold requests for any titles they are eligible to check out. You must have a Library card and PIN number. Hold requests can be placed from any of the Public Access Catalog (PAC) computers in the Library, or from the Library's web page using any computer with Internet access.
1. Search for the title

link If items of the title are available, the locations will be shown under the author and title display. Patrons can place requests even if items are currently unavailable. 1. Enter your library card
number, press
Tab, If the patron library card
number or PIN is not correct, a message
similar to this will be displayed:
If the hold request was successful, the following message will be displayed: Your hold has been approved for:
Use the
Patron Record Review feature to review your Holds
and Due Dates. You can also cancel
Holds, renew items, change your PIN number and view saved searches. 1. Enter your library card
number, press
Tab, If you have items checked out or on hold, they will be listed. You may renew items from this window by clicking the appropriate boxes and clicking the Renew Checked Items button. You may cancel hold requests by clicking the box to the left of the requested Hold item and then clicking Cancel Checked Item. (Note: if the held item has no waiting list it is not possible to cancel the hold request on line).
